Lexion Chief Legal Officer Awarded Women, Influence & Power in Law for Thought Leadership

We’re thrilled (and not surprised) to share that our Chief Legal Officer Jessica Nguyen was honored in Corporate Counsel’s 2021 Women, Influence & Power in Law (WIPL) awards for In-House Thought Leadership. Each year, Corporate Counsel recognizes general counsel, in-house leaders, and law firm partners who have demonstrated a commitment to advancing the empowerment of women in law. These women leaders are business strategists, complex problem-solvers and, of course, great lawyers. But what particularly makes these women stand out is their personal dedication to the promotion of diversity in the legal industry. These are women championing women!

“Jessica’s thought leadership stems from her authenticity,” said Gaurav Oberoi, CEO of Lexion. “She is generous with candidly sharing real-life stories of her personal challenges so that others that follow her trail don’t make the same mis-steps or pursue a path best suited for them.”

The WIPL awards highlight extraordinary leadership by recognizing female in-house counsel and law firm partners in the following categories: Innovative Leadership; Thought Leadership; Collaborative Leadership;  Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Champion; General Counsel of the Year or Managing Partner of the Year; and Lifetime Achievement.

Jessica was profiled in the Corporate Counsel publication, law.com and all awardees were recognized at an awards dinner on October 7th as a part of the WIPL conference in Washington, D.C.

A sincere congratulations to all of the WIPL awardees! See the full list of awardees at law.com.
